Possible sale. Not sure yet gauging interest.

Post by Wilso » Mon Jun 26, 2017 11:09 am

Any interest in my ktm 950 superenduro? After a lot of soul searching it might be time to let her go. Only thinking about it at the moment but simply not using her. It's one well sorted bike under 8k miles everything that can be done is done apart from water pump and fuel pump. Cons with lots of original bits and spares. Wolf man racks and luggage, pillion pegs etc etc.

Thinking £8750 probably won't sell for less. Unless put back to standard and all bits sold separate.

This bike has been used as intended morocco tour, hefran rally once green lanes. Currently on brand new road tyres recent service new battery, valves never touched not needed, good chain sprockets. List goes on.

Bike located sw London viewing at secure bike shop.

Also looking for someone to take over the forum or certainly help as no time.

You're not wrong this is a silly sale and will regret it to the end. But 2 kids, new job and a bunch of other stuff I've done a whopping 28 miles in the last 2 years. Would rather someone else bought it and used as I just see it there looking sad.

Take over would mean the hosting cost etc. Only a fiver a month so not huge by I miss approving posts sometimes and sending people the registration password. Time to update it etc. So either someone to help or just take it over.

Thank you

Hey, don't do it Wilso!

Don't sell the bike, you'll only regret it it a few months time.

If you're not riding it then I would suggest inhibiting (internal anti-corroding) the engine, drain the carbs and put it on SORN. When you have more time on your hands and the sun is shining it will be waiting for you.

The 950SE is too much of a good bike to let go...

That's exactly what I said - do NOT sell it. Even if it gets put away, it's an appreciating asset so storing it even makes financial sense.
