Post by EvilGrosminet » Fri Feb 08, 2013 2:27 am

Anybody been using it for a little while ? I consider it ,but would like the comments of users .Should do wonder to let air in the engine ,but what about filtration or riding in the wet ? I use my bike 90% of the time offroad or on gravel ...

Would love to do this mod but it is just too wet and muddy in the UK so worried about drowning the bike... Also have the Uni Filter that replaces the snorkle but waiting for the morroco trip to fit it one for the same reason.

Bet it makes it sound and handle amazing! if you do it can you post up a progress report and pictures please.

Well I bit the bullet and went for the CPR with the head2wind jetting kit, at the same time removed the sas... Apart from fuel consumption it's awesome! Great ride on Saturday and the bike feels so much free'er....

Did you try the unfilter?

I've had mine for several months now and it adds so much to the engine right where you need it, off the bottom. Mine gained 7hp on the Dyno but much more than that in rideability. I also gained mpg. I don't ride in much wet but even if I did I would fabricate some form of protection to have what this filter delivers. Highly recommended.

Yes, and if you like I'll look up what I'm using. I spend 4 months a year at sea level and the remainder at 5k feet + and the jetting is good in both locals. I will say that the muffler choice is a big factor as we tried the same jetting I use with ackros on an FMF equipped bike and it was terribly rich.
