some pics from Sweet lamb rally, Mid Wales

Post by Beer » Wed Jul 13, 2016 9:47 pm

spent the weekend at Sweet lamb a few weeks ago on Molys Rally training..highly recommend it, suitable from people with no off road experience to ones who have loads of experience, I've been riding/racing bikes since i was 17 (10 years doing enduros, 3 years doing supermoto and a few rallies in recent years and I learnt so much i wish i had done the course years ago.

you learn to ride at pace and safely which on a big bike is exactly what you need.

it's really professionally run, the bunkhouse/pit garage is a great place to stay and has everything you could wish for and at £90 per day the training is superb value in my opinion.

here's a link so get yourself booked in.....

Sweet Lamb Adventure Rally Bike Academy

few pics from last weekend...

there were three SE's, two HP2s, an africa twin plus a few others. 7 lads getting training by 3 instructors - how about that for a good ratio!!

Love that pic with the 3 SE's
The one in front is yours, is that Wilso's bike in the background?
Have you guys got any close up pics of your bikes to see all the mods you have on them?

thanks,

The one in the front is mine, the middle one is Posties (was Loz's bike before he sold it and a couple of weeks later tried to buy it back :D ) of the rear one is Multi Docs which actually has the most bits bolted in it....

nearest thing to a side on close up on my rally SE is this:

Image

Main additions to mine are
Safari tank
Raid Designs Screen
Rally Raid Steering damper
HDB Handguards,
Akras no baffles
Centre stand
Hid Spots
Oberon clutch slave
Braking rear disc
Black Dog sump guard
Garmin 660 lockable mount
aux power sockets
Zen overland rear rack
side stand relocator
big footpegs
CJ Designs water pump upgrade
Krieger haul loop
carbon clutch and ignition covers
some fancy graphics
rear sets
heated oem grips
SAS/EPC removed
quick release front axle
desert moose in front
12v socket + Aux Sockets

the other one i've got is running on 17" takasago wheels, gold hub, black rims, motomaster front disc, adventure spec rack, fuel pipes, SM front mudguard

there are other things but i can't think of them at the moment

you would have to turn up with over £10K in your pocket to even tempt me to think about parting with it, and even then you would have to prize it from my hands mwhahaha
